HERMIONE DE PAULA SS13 . LONDON

Hermione de Paula graduated from Central St Martin’s and earnt her stripes completing work experience for prestigious fashion houses including Christian Dior Couture, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and Giles. Following this grounding De Paula launched her first ready-to-wear collection in 2008 which quickly gained acclaim and support from key industry insiders and a cult following. De Paula’s collection successfully creates a contrast between the delicacy and softness of her feminine floral prints with a dynamic, statement edginess. In sumptuous silks and chiffons her exotic prints are transformed into flowing pieces that will easily fit into any stylish woman’s wardrobe.
Her recent collaboration with Nicolas Kirkwood is a hit, as well as a collection of amazing press by British Vogue, Russia Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Grazia, Zoo, Tank and also Style Bubble. Her SS13 collection is a continuation of her signature floral prints with a more boyish street look. I especially adore her lovely 3D floral street cap and the sheer dress. Her collection is available in Liberty, Asos, Avenue 32, My Wardrobe and more.

RYAN LO SS13 . LONDON

Brand: Ryan Lo
Graduate School: London College of Fashion

Ryan Lo is already a hit of the topic between the Londoners, he gained himself inside one of the schedule in SS13 London Fashion Week with Fashion East, plus his features were all over the London big press such as LOVE, DAZED & CONFUSED and the lovely Susie Bubble. This already states his work is fully recognizable to the fashionistas and this industry.
His SS13 show was a first hit to the big public audience, introducing his signature weird DIY maximalism knits, mixing all different knits, strings, tulle, ribbons... all different weird materials that you couldnt think of, and they were the perfect materials for his interpretation of the collection. Inspired by different things from the Japanese cartoons, Hong Kong 90s TV, and some Wong Kar-Wai moments. The Hong Kong born and raised but now London based designer definitely worth more than a while to detail checked his remarkable yet well-crafted collection. His SS13 collection will be available at Hong Kong Joyce store.

ELEANOR AMOROSO . LONDON

Brand: Eleanor Amoroso
Founded year: 2010
Graduate School: University of Westminster

Base on Eleanor Amoroso's fall winter 2012 collection accessories-garment, her spring 2013 collection evolved from black to white. This collection is more approachable and easier for customer to style with their wardrobe. The knitted-wrapped-knotted-circles were amazingly well made and its available in different forms of shapes. She definitely found her way to develop her brand in the future as this collection is more on her signature "accessories-garment". This direction is right on track and I think her collection can be applicable to most of our daily styled down to street looks. Her past collection is available at Not Just A Label.
