JOURDEN . HONG KONG

Brand : JOURDEN
Graduate School : Studio Berçot
Creative Director : Mak Chun Ting

Based in Hong Kong and Paris, Mak Chun Ting founded JOURDEN in Hong Kong. The first collection start with a very boy-ish classics with a strong sense of femininity. I am amazed by their play on fabrication. The incredibly simple harrington jacket in a weighty shimmering fabric double-sided with wool, the very cliché varsity jacket precisely constructed in 800 grams cashmere wool, the bourgeois hunting coat on a risky take, made with a custom-quilted fabric with multi-frills weaved in and out of it and fitted in XXL. The retailers of their FW13 collection includes: Happy Shop (Berlin) / Desperado (Tokyo) / Camille Boyer (Vienna) / Liger (HK) / Edit (HK).

EUGÉNIE FW13 . NEW ZEALAND

Construction site and woman, this two things won't match together and its seems like a little bit doesn't making sense, but New Zealand designer Liz Wilson's label Eugénie is merging these two elements together for their FW13 collection. Pastel tone, plywood print, structural shape, rock print, all these looks are the perfect hybrid of her inspiration. And she previously won the fashion quarterly / Tresemmé young designer of the year in 2011.

RAUN LAROSE FW13 . NEW YORK

The Young Designers Project is a digital platform showcasing different talents each season, this season Aina Beck and Raun Larose has collaborate with them to present their FW13 collection. The Brooklyn native Raun Larose FW13 collection is inspired by street-wear with a sense of college schoolboy elements. The illusion of the fabrication makes you unsure what you see is true until you touch the fabrics. He did a mixing in neoprene and boiled wool with tailored outerwear which he always do best.
